Key Responsibilities
The role involves assembling products according to specified standards within set timelines to fulfill customer requirements. Duties include:
- Assembling components and parts to create new products while following the Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Verifying the accuracy of component quantities and conducting quality checks on finished products.
- Understanding basic ERP systems, computer operations, and scheduling protocols.
- Interpreting technical instructions and BOM documentation.
- Testing final products for defects and ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Conducting quality spot checks with appropriate documentation.
- Completing all assigned tasks from production leads/supervisors safely and efficiently, adhering to company quality standards.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace free from debris.
- Performing additional tasks as needed.
Note: Responsibilities may vary based on the assigned station, and employees will typically rotate through various positions.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with production processes, policies, and objectives.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Proficient in using tools such as wire strippers, pliers, and wrenches.
- Commitment to safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
- Capability to distinguish between colored wires and electronic components.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation effectively.
