Job Overview

The selected candidate will perform 3D modeling of piping and equipment in a 3D model environment and prepare 2D drawings/documents for General Arrangements and piping isometrics drawings. The candidate will also assist with coordination of 3D model activities, input, interference reconciliation, etc. with other physical related disciplines.

Responsibilities
  • Support planning and scheduling and prepare/maintain design procedures, standards to provide quality design documents as directed.
  • Interface with stress and pipe support engineers, construction, and suppliers during the preparation of piping designs for the purpose of model/space control, etc. and perform reviews of engineering documents.
  • Candidate should possess an advanced knowledge of piping codes such as ASME B31.3 or B31.1.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical) or Bachelor of Science in related engineering discipline with work experience in Electrical engineering.
  • Significant hands-on experience using in a 3D piping design platform and experience using a 3D isometric extraction program.
  • Extensive knowledge & application of ASME B31.1 and/or B31.3 codes.
