As an Electrical Project Leader at E-J, you will play a crucial role in delivering successful electrical projects for our esteemed clients. Your responsibilities will include planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the estimated budget, timeline, and scope. You will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, and project team members.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced electrical contractor with 3-5+ years of Project Manager experience to oversee and manage projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will coordinate and supervise all electrical aspects of the projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards of E-J.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely project completion
  • Develop comprehensive project budgets, monitor costs, and implement cost-saving measures when possible
  • Provide regular project updates to clients and stakeholders, informing them of project status, risks, and milestones
  • Procure and coordinate necessary materials, equipment, and subcontractors for each project
  • Attend and run project meetings
  • Evaluate project team performance, providing feedback, coaching, and training as needed
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and project closeout documents
  • Address any project-related issues, conflicts, or delays promptly and effectively, seeking solutions that maintain project progress
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives
  • Identify areas of process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and profitability
  • Oversee the work of subcontracts, ensuring they adhere to project specifications and safety guidelines

Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of Project Manager experience, required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in electrical contracting/engineering field
  • Strong organizational & multi-tasking skills with attention to detail
  • Practical knowledge of construction
  • Strong business acumen in project and planning and management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in project management software (ex: Procore) and the Microsoft Suite
  • Practical knowledge of construction processes
