The Role

This exciting opportunity is part of our New York office, where you will be working with a talented team of engineers to design and deliver electrical systems for various clients. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing full low and medium voltage electrical systems, including power, emergency power systems, batteries, lighting, fire alarm, and signaling systems
  • Leading the preparation of contract documents, including plans, specifications, and cost estimates for complex projects
  • Selecting and preparing specifications for electrical equipment and coordinating work with engineers from other disciplines
  • Presenting designs and project information to clients and stakeholders
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent
  • Professional Engineer licensure
  • Experience working for a MEP firm, focusing on Mission Critical applications, designing medium-voltage distribution systems, and emergency generation
  • Proficiency in Revit, 3D CADD, and knowledge of NFPA Standards
  • A strong understanding of building systems, including door finish hardware, IT building communications, lighting controls, and BAS networks

Salary Range

We are offering a competitive salary range of $155,000 to $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience. This includes base pay and bonus potential, making it an attractive opportunity for top talent.
