Position Overview

Air General Incorporated, a prominent national provider of cargo handling services, is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Agent to join our team. This role is based at a major airport location and involves a variety of warehouse responsibilities, including documentation, cargo handling, and ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, tugs, and pallet jacks.
  • Manage customer documentation and shipping details accurately.
  • Load and unload air cargo from vehicles and trucks.
  • Prepare and organize cargo for transport, including palletizing and breakdown as necessary.
  • Ensure all cargo-related paperwork is completed correctly.
  • Oversee the safe handling and delivery of cargo.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse and dispose of waste appropriately.
  • Ensure safe operation of all warehouse vehicles and equipment.
  • Adhere to Hazmat and security regulations and requirements.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings, including background checks and security clearances.
  • Successful completion of a drug test is required.
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License is necessary.
  • Capability to obtain a valid airport identification badge.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, or pull up to 70 lbs.
  • Basic computer skills are essential.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
  • Availability for varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Work Schedule

Typical hours are from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.
