Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and consistent support for Capula Trading Desks, ensuring all trades are processed on trade date and resolving any queries or issues relating to trade capture, settlement, and event processing.
  • Understand and adhere to controls and procedures, and assist with projects related to system or process enhancements and re-engineering of operational flows.
  • Support the onboarding of new products, counterparties, or third-party providers in the operations team, working closely with internal teams, administrators, and prime brokers to integrate them into the flow.
  • Work on projects related to system enhancements and re-engineering of operational flows, ensuring seamless trade processing and resolution of any queries or issues.
Requirements
  • Good degree from a well-recognized university with a strong academic background.
  • CFA qualification desirable.
  • Experience within operations at a Fixed Income Hedge Fund.
  • Strong knowledge of financial products, including FX, CDS, IRS, TRS, VAR swaps, and equities.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships both internally and externally to support business requirements.
  • An individual adept at knowledge sharing with other team members.
  • A fast-thinking and analytical individual.
  • Numerate.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, with fluency in English.
  • Quick decision-making skills and willingness to assume responsibility and take ownership of tasks assigned.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • IT skills in Excel, Word, Bloomberg, Outlook, MarkitWire, Ice, administrator systems, and various other industry systems provided by other Financial Institutions.
