Position Overview:
The Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration is in search of a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Community Living Center, Patton's Place. This role is essential in delivering comprehensive care through collaborative efforts with the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
As an LPN, your primary duties will include:

  • Addressing the nutritional, elimination, and hygiene needs of patients/residents.
  • Assisting with patient mobility through safe handling techniques.
  • Participating in the admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
  • Providing essential education to patients and their families regarding medications and equipment.
  • Supporting patients in daily living activities and rehabilitation efforts.
  • Contributing to the interdisciplinary team in developing and evaluating treatment plans.
  • Conducting walking rounds and exchanging reports with team leaders.
  • Engaging in special programs and activities to enhance patient well-being.
  • Assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed.

Work Schedule:
This position requires flexibility, including potential evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
