Job Summary

Premier Health Partners is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general clinical and procedural patient care, under the supervision of the Practice Manager and/or center Physicians/Providers.
  • Independently perform procedures, including rooming patients and collecting vitals, pulmonary function tests, administration of injections, EKGs, breathing treatments, lab testing, dressing changes, wound cleaning, hearing and vision tests, and other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and ensuring confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a practical nursing and pharmacology program.
  • Maintain current state licensure with CNE requirements.
  • Prior experience in ambulatory healthcare facilities is preferred.
  • Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians.
  • Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards.
  • CPR certified within the first 3 months of employment.
  • Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding.
  • Familiarity with the EPIC EMR is strongly preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of HIPAA law.
