Property Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at FPI Management, Inc. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a meaningful impact on our residents' lives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the overall upkeep and appearance of our apartment homes and community amenities. The salary range for this position is $46,000 - $54,000 per year, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing flooring, drywall, and appliances; troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, safety, and security systems; and painting (interior and exterior).
- Clean and maintain all common areas, including gardens, courtyards, and parking lots.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and take proactive measures to prevent costly repairs.
- Respond to resident requests for maintenance and repair services in a timely and professional manner.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within residential property management.
- A high school diploma or equivalent certificate required; technical school and/or CAMT certification preferred.
- A valid driver's license, good driving record, current motor vehicle insurance, and an operable vehicle that meets FPI's driving standards.
- Must be able to wear a respirator and have the ability to be medically fit for duty and cleared to wear a respirator.
- Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
- Basic computer skills, including email and internet use.
