Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Northpoint Recovery Holdings, LLC. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide and oversee medical services to a caseload of patients, acting as the medical treatment plan coordinator and working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interact with patients, observe behaviors, and communicate significant observations to the multidisciplinary team as necessary
  • Administer medications to patients and engage in education process
  • Utilize de-escalation skills to maintain personal safety for patients and others
  • Provide admission, orientation, education, and discharge plans to patients, families, and others
  • Consult with the multidisciplinary treatment team in the development of treatment plans and discharge planning

Requirements:

  • Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state where services are rendered
  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age
  • Current and nationally accredited CPR/First Aid/AED certification
  • Knowledge of computer and electronic medical records systems (KIPU)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse with one (1) year inpatient/residential experience
  • Excellent organizational abilities, written and oral communication skills, and attention to detail
