Job Title: Proposal Coordinator

POWER Engineers is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Proposal Coordinator to join our Power Generation team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in advancing business opportunities through expertly crafted proposals.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented individual to work alongside our Project Managers and technical staff in developing and coordinating proposals. The successful candidate will have excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical content in an engaging and accessible way.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating competitive proposal efforts, requests for information, and qualifications packages
  • Working with teams to identify and develop proposal win strategies
  • Supporting technical staff on presentation development for sales efforts and short-list interviews
  • Developing and updating marketing materials such as project summaries and staff resumes
  • Coordinating client focus teams and supporting basic market and/or client research, including entering/updating information into our CRM system
Requirements:
  • High degree of self-motivation, initiative, and follow-through
  • Demonstrated ability coordinating cross-functional teams to a successful outcome
  • Effective time management in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and prioritize tasks based on shifting needs
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Experience with standard MS Office software
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree/background in English, communication, journalism, technical writing, or similar
  • Previous experience with grant writing or proposal writing for engineering, construction, architecture, or consulting
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other CRM system is preferred, but not required
