Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our team at St. Luke's Health System. As a Medical Physicist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and safety of radiation treatments for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure the accuracy and safety of radiation treatments.
  • Collaborate with radiation oncologists and dosimetrists to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Ensure that all radiation safety requirements are met and that all treatment machines and radiation sources are correctly calibrated.
  • Develop and maintain a QA program in coordination with other team members.
  • Establish treatment planning and dose calculation procedures that are used throughout the department.
Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Medical Physics or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in radiation oncology physics setting or completion of CAMPEP accredited residency.
  • Certification in Therapeutic Radiological Physics (TRP) or Therapeutic Medical Physics (TMP) by the ABR or ABMP.
