About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Loan Processor II to join our team at Cadence Bank. As a key member of our mortgage operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of mortgage loans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and verify mortgage loan applications, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate
  • Assist with the collection and validation of required documentation from borrowers and other parties
  • Proactively communicate with borrowers, loan officers, and other staff to ensure excellent customer service and maintain accurate pipeline information
  • Prepare and submit complete loan files to underwriting for credit decision, meeting strict time deadlines
  • Manage a pipeline of loans to meet company standards for quantity, quality, and best practices
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of processing and/or mortgage experience
  • Knowledge and experience using mortgage loan origination systems (LOS), MS Word, Excel, and email
  • Ability to meet strict time deadlines and work independently
  • Detail-oriented and able to follow set guidelines
  • Knowledge of automated underwriting and agency guidelines, including FNMA, FHA, VA, and USDA
