Product Owner II Job Description

Nelnet Business Services (NBS) is a leading provider of payment technology, education services, and learning management solutions to education and faith-based organizations. As a Product Owner II, you will play a critical role in coordinating product development, release planning, and managing the successful delivery of new and existing products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with agile development teams to create use cases, requirements, and estimations in support of company objectives.
  • Document release notes and manage analytics behind the customer's journey through our products.
  • Validate UX mocks and early-stage simulations with clients.
  • Ensure solutions meet market expectations by working with development teams.
  • Collaborate with sales, technical sales, marketing, and product manager to provide content for sales, user training, and documentation tools.
  • Update and maintain client documentation, including release notes and roadmaps.
  • Launch new products with assistance from the Product Manager.
  • Manage client feedback tools to ensure the voice of the customer is heard and felt in each product.
  • Study and report on product analytics.
  • Support onboarding new team members.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years related experience or existing product knowledge.
  • 2+ years of experience with Ellucian or Workday student information systems. Banner experience preferred - OR applicable experience with Higher Ed software.
