Job Summary

This role is responsible for meeting sales objectives established by the supervisor. The Sales Representative will assist walk-in customers, phone customers, and procure product for the warehouse. Additionally, they will assist in the warehouse as needed by the supervisor with booking interisland and mainland shipments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain positive customer relations with present and prospective customers. Obtain feedback from customers regarding products and maintain a strong interface with the company's service organization to ensure superior customer service.
  • Assist in the warehouse as needed, working with the company's objectives to maintain supply and demand and minimize product waste.
  • Print invoices and orders from sales staff, take payments from phone and walk-in customers, and work with sales staff to manage inventory.
  • Responsible for actively participating in selling products to support counter sales, including the dispatch and delivery of farm chemicals and fertilizers.
  • Provide information regarding strategies and solutions to product pricing.
Education and Experience

A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Knowledge of company products and equipment, Haz-Mat and DOT regulations, excellent customer service, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite are also necessary. Ability to become familiar with industry-related software is a plus.

Required Certifications

A valid driver's license is required.

A combination of education, training, and/or experience will be considered for this position. This position is not eligible for relocation.
