The University of Miami Health System is seeking a highly qualified faculty member to join our Division of Nuclear Medicine in the Department of Radiology. As a clinical educator, you will play a key role in teaching and mentoring trainees, providing clinical care and consultation, and contributing to the advancement of our field through research and publication.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality interpretations of imaging studies, including plain film, CT, and MR, from multiple facilities.
- Participate in multidisciplinary conferences, journal clubs, and departmental meetings to stay current with the latest developments in nuclear medicine.
- Recruit, train, and mentor other faculty and staff physicians to ensure the continued growth and success of our division.
- Conduct research and publish papers in academic journals to advance the field of nuclear medicine.
- Represent the University of Miami Health System at conferences and deliver presentations to share your expertise with colleagues and peers.
- Board certification or eligibility in Nuclear Medicine (ABNM) and Diagnostic Radiology (ABR).
- MD or DO degree, or foreign equivalent, with eligibility for full medical licensure in the State of Florida.
- Excellent academic achievement, as demonstrated by a record of scientific presentation and/or publication.
- Experience in all facets of nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging, with a strong desire to contribute to the advancement of our field.
