Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at the University of Miami. As a key member of our Imaging Services Department, you will be responsible for performing complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiographic equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images with minimal radiation exposure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging studies in multiple specialties, including X-ray, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, and Nuclear Medicine.
  • Coordinate and manage scheduling and patient flow for interdepartmental procedures.
  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, including starting IVs and injecting contrast media as needed.
  • Ensure accurate patient records and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
  • Provide education and training to student technologists and assist with the orientation of new staff members.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent and graduate of a Radiologic Technology accredited program.
  • ARRT registered in at least two modalities and valid State of Florida License.
  • One to three years of relevant experience preferred.
