Job Description

Summary

At Delray Medical Center, we are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Telemetry team on a per diem basis. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, safe, and cost-effective nursing care to all patients, ensuring their overall well-being and satisfaction.


Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, assessing, and evaluating patient needs, and developing individualized care plans.

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to established standards and protocols.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of patient care and outcomes.

• Maintain current certifications and licensure, adhering to regulatory requirements and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

• BSN preferred

• Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida

• American Heart Association BLS certification

• For Telemetry and higher acuity units: ACLS (AHA) and Basic EKG interpretation are also required.
