Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse

Job Summary
The Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry Specialist provides high-quality, safe, and cost-effective nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Telemetry unit at Delray Medical Center. This role assumes responsibility for overall coordination of the patient's experience and integration of patient care based on the nursing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct high-quality and patient-focused care according to established standards of safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control.
- Coordinate patient care with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans based on the nursing process.
- Monitor and report patient status to the healthcare team, including vital signs, medication administration, and laboratory results.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions of care.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- For Telemetry and higher acuity units: ACLS (AHA) and Basic EKG interpretation are also required.
