Position Overview:
The Clinical Access Coordinator plays a vital role in managing inquiry calls, ensuring that clients receive the appropriate guidance and support. This position involves conducting clinical assessments to determine the necessary services for individuals seeking assistance, all while adhering to ethical and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Field and screen inquiry calls, providing education about our services.
- Conduct thorough assessments to establish initial diagnoses and recommendations.
- Facilitate the admissions process for clients entering treatment.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation in patient service records.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to patient progress discussions.
- Provide case management and counseling services to assigned patients.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in a health-related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Demonstrated clinical competency in assessments and admissions.
- Strong written communication skills for accurate documentation.
- Certification as an Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor or the ability to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
- Emotional and medical readiness to fulfill essential job responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This position requires participation in on-call duties and collaboration with a dedicated team focused on delivering high-quality addiction treatment services.
