Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Central Services Technician III to oversee the sanitation of cages and related equipment at our laboratory animal facility in Cambridge, MA. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the facility, including the cage wash rooms, feed and bedding rooms, and other ancillary areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the sanitation of cages and related equipment
  • Review and comply with all SOPs and quality assurance standards
  • Schedule and monitor Central Services Technicians I and II
  • Maintain records of cagewash runs, operations, and maintenance schedules
  • Perform daily start-up and shut down procedures of the cage washer
  • Receive and store feed, bedding, and supplies
  • Ensure all logbooks, checklists, and other records are completed in a timely fashion
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years experience working in a laboratory animal facility
  • ALAT certification preferred
