Job Description: Child Communication Specialist

At United & Empowered Care, we are committed to providing high-quality care to children with communication disorders. We are seeking a dedicated Child Communication Specialist to join our team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Evaluate children's speech and language skills to identify areas of need.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services in various settings, including schools and clinics.
  • Collaborate with parents, educators, and other professionals to support the child's communication development.

**Requirements:**

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is mandatory.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric therapy is preferred.
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Virginia is necessary.

**Compensation and Benefits:

* Estimated salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

* Health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and 401-K benefits are provided.

* A sign-on bonus of $500 is offered.
