Job Title: Senior Manager, AI Evaluation Product & Program Management

At Apple, we're committed to innovation and excellence in AI and Machine Learning. We're seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to lead our AI Evaluation Product & Program Management team.

About the Role

As a Senior Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a high-performing team of evaluation professionals to develop and execute evaluation solutions for Apple's AI and Machine Learning products. You'll work closely with top-tier data scientists, engineers, and product teams across Apple to ensure the delivery of high-quality AI-powered experiences for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of evaluation solutions for Apple's AI and Machine Learning products
  • Oversee the growth and development of a strong evaluation program to support Apple's AI model and AI-powered experience development
  • Drive consensus across multiple groups with varying opinions and needs
  • Influence entire teams around a common purpose and drive conference on the plan of execution
  • Advocate for user and company values when leading the team to converge on key open questions with laser focus on user quality experience
  • Foster a strong measurement-informed product development culture in AI, influence partner organizations to develop rigor in measurement-driven culture
  • Establish strong partnerships with Apple AI and AI-powered product team leaders on joint efforts on evaluation feedback improved product development loop
  • Provide clear, timely, and objective communication on evaluation insights to executives across AI and partner organizations to help inform critical product decisions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, or related field and equivalent experience
  • Excellent program management skills, including program structuring and leading multiple work streams interdependently
  • Experience managing a program management team in AI-powered product space
  • Strong leadership skills, including conflict resolution, negotiation, courage to take risks when needed, strategic, and results-driven approach focusing on driving what matters
  • Preferred qualifications: Master's or PhD degree in Statistics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, or related field and equivalent experience
