The role of a Supply Chain Operations Engineer involves meticulous planning aligned with business objectives.

This position serves as the primary liaison with the Service Desk to conduct root cause analyses for all critical issues.

Additionally, the engineer is responsible for data collection regarding key performance indicators (KPIs) that contribute to daily and monthly assessments.

In this capacity, the Operations Engineer addresses all aspects of logistics operations and machinery, including incident, problem, and change management.

The responsibilities of an Operations Engineer blend technical, training, and administrative tasks, along with coordinating efforts between KNAPP and its clients to optimize operations.

Working collaboratively with the KNAPP team, the engineer interacts with the Service Desk, software systems, physical technology, engineers, and end-users to enhance stability, efficiency, and best practices.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop operational strategies
  • Assess impacts on the entire logistics system in partnership with clients
  • Monitor and evaluate performance metrics
  • Enhance operational quality by analyzing and recommending process improvements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain management
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in warehousing, high-volume manufacturing, distribution, production planning, or transportation
  • Familiarity with WMS, WCS, and SRC systems
  • Preferred background in engineering
  • Operational experience in an automated distribution environment
  • ITIL Foundation certification
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Team-oriented with the ability to lead and motivate others while working independently
