Sterile Processing Department Lead

Overview:
As a Sterile Processing Tech Lead at CHI St. Vincent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient sterilization and processing of surgical instruments, enabling our team to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inventory audits to optimize supply levels and initiate adjustments as needed.
- Ensure the efficient maintenance of instruments and processing supply inventory.
- Provide training and in-service education to employees on OSHA, Joint Commission, and Fire & Safety regulations.
- Coordinate schedules to ensure adequate department coverage.
- Assemble and oversee the assembly of 35-40 instrument sets per day.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- REQUIRED: Certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST).
- REQUIRED: Three years of experience in a Sterile Processing Department, with at least one year in a lead or charge role.
