This is a dynamic and challenging position that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize medical equipment and supplies using various methods and equipment.
- Inspect and assemble medical instruments and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Prepare and package medical supplies and equipment for distribution to healthcare facilities.
- Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, including steam and gas sterilizers.
- Perform quality control checks on sterilized equipment and supplies to ensure they meet standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure timely delivery of sterilized equipment and supplies.
- Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) Certification required.
- Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER) Certification required.
- Associates Degree in a related healthcare field preferred.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift greater than 50 pounds.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
