Key Responsibilities
  • Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize medical equipment and supplies using various methods and equipment.
  • Inspect and assemble medical instruments and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Prepare and package medical supplies and equipment for distribution to healthcare facilities.
  • Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, including steam and gas sterilizers.
  • Perform quality control checks on sterilized equipment and supplies to ensure they meet standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure timely delivery of sterilized equipment and supplies.
Requirements
  • Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) Certification required.
  • Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER) Certification required.
  • Associates Degree in a related healthcare field preferred.
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift greater than 50 pounds.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
