Originally focused on individuals with disabilities, Hopewell now provides a diverse array of support services for families with infants and toddlers facing developmental or socio-economic challenges. Annually, Hopewell Center serves over 450 individuals through its various programs, thanks to a dedicated team of professionals.

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute Individual Program Plans (IPPs) effectively.
  • Assist residents with household management tasks.
  • Supervise behavioral programs tailored for residents.
  • Educate residents on budgeting and financial management.
  • Support residents with personal hygiene routines.
  • Oversee the administration of medications.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of supplies and medications.
  • Assist in meal preparation and dietary education.
  • Monitor and manage resident adaptive equipment.
  • Facilitate residents' physical activities and leisure pursuits.
  • Provide transportation services for residents.
  • Conduct training for emergency evacuation procedures.
  • Document resident activities in a detailed log.
  • Ensure the security of the residence during absences.
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • Understanding of training methodologies for individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Familiarity with Individual Program Plans (IPPs) is essential.
  • Ability to comprehend and implement outlined plans.
  • Basic skills in budgeting and financial management.
  • Proficient record-keeping abilities.
  • Capability to adhere to instructions and organizational policies.
  • Strong communication skills are necessary.
  • Completion of required training certifications is mandatory.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
