Job Summary:

The Operations Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for leading the Warehouse Operations Maintenance team to state-of-the-art solutions related to automation. This includes liaison between the Warehouse and Maintenance Teams, identifying and eliminating barriers to continuously improve the automation operation and reliability through process improvements, coordinating work, training, projects, and preventative planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Warehouse Operations Maintenance team to state-of-the-art solutions related to automation.
  • Liaison between the Warehouse and Maintenance Teams.
  • Identify and eliminate barriers to continuously improve the automation operation and reliability.
  • Coordinate work, training, projects, and preventative planning.
  • Work closely with the Production and Maintenance departments to resolve issues.
  • Assist with training and development of team members.
  • Make independent decisions carried out with a high degree of professionalism and be self-directed and motivated.
Requirements:
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years industrial experience preferred.
  • Experience with Automated Storage Retrieval Systems preferred.
  • Experience with operating/managing Self-Guided Vehicles preferred.
  • Experience in a lean manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of the automation industry.
  • Working knowledge of warehouse inventory management tools and principles.
  • Must have working knowledge of PLC's and system controls.
  • Standard knowledge of pneumatics, electrical and hydraulics.
  • Standard knowledge of product specifications, quality specifications, goals, efficiency, scrap, and production.
  • SAP knowledge preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of INFOR or other Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
  • Ability to use Personal Computer (PC) software for time management, correspondence, and reporting.
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Ability to operate an overhead crane.
