Role Overview:

The Sales Support Specialist engages with clients to identify their needs, develop solutions, and facilitate a seamless sales experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build rapport with customers by assisting both walk-in and phone inquiries, representing the organization professionally.
  • Efficiently process, retrieve, and distribute customer products.
  • Address questions and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Accurately enter sales orders to generate invoices for products to be picked up or delivered, ensuring payment is secured in line with company policy.
  • Assess and determine the handling of warranty items according to manufacturer policies and customer requirements.
  • Provide estimated delivery dates based on vendor production and delivery timelines.
  • Assist with receiving, shipping, and general warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant inside sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift 100 pounds using a dolly.
  • Strong presence at the counter with the capability to interact directly with customers throughout the day.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment managing inventory and customer issues.
  • Familiarity with related product lines such as pool supplies, parts, chemicals, or pool construction is advantageous.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
