Maintenance Planner Job Description

At Front Porch, we are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory levels, and supply chain management.
  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Collaborate with maintenance staff to identify and prioritize maintenance needs, and develop effective solutions to address them.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules, including preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance.
  • Monitor and control maintenance budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and staff, responding promptly to maintenance requests and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • 1-year certificate from college or technical school, or 3-6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups.
  • Ability to calculate figures, apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry, and deal with problems involving several concrete variables.

  • Frequently required to walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, talk or hear, and taste or smell.
  • Occasionally required to stand, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds with assistance.
