Therapeutic Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Big Bend Regional Medical Center in Alpine, TX.
Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm (occasional Saturdays). As a Physical Therapist, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients in various settings, including outpatient clinics and acute care facilities.
You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including middle school to college athletes with return-to-sport goals, as well as patients requiring post-operative care for conditions such as shoulder, knee, and hip injuries. Our clinic also provides services to neuro, spine, and geriatric patients.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and develop personalized treatment plans to achieve their goals.
- Collaborate with our orthopedic surgery team to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Develop and implement exercise programs to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and range of motion.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
- Certification as a physical therapist in the state of Texas.
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of physical therapy.
