ABW Technologies is seeking skilled and experienced TIG Fitter/Welders specializing in aluminum and stainless steel. We value individuals who are dedicated to producing high-quality fabricated components while consistently meeting customer expectations and timelines.

Candidates for the Fitter/Welder role must possess the ability to interpret and comprehend technical drawings. Responsibilities include fitting and welding parts according to established welding procedures, taking into account weld shrinkage, and performing tasks with minimal oversight. All fittings and welds will undergo inspection by internal and/or customer Certified Welding Inspectors (CWIs). ABW also provides in-house testing and certification for welders. In addition to qualification testing, candidates will be assessed on their proficiency in reading and understanding drawings, tolerances, and welding protocols.

Compensation is determined by the number of welding processes and certifications held by the welders, as well as their performance on weld tests conducted during the interview process. Swing shift positions offer a higher pay rate, ranging from $30 to $40 per hour.

Our benefits package includes health, dental, vision, and optional benefits, along with two weeks of paid time off annually.

Work Schedule: Day shift consists of four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday, from 6 am to 4:30 pm, with overtime as needed.

While performing the duties of this role, employees are regularly required to stand and use their hands for tasks such as handling or feeling. Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision and depth perception.
