Job Summary:

The Center Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the urgent care center, ensuring that all clinical and business standards are met. This includes managing staff, patient flow, and resources, as well as implementing corporate-led initiatives and promoting Compassionate Hospitality and STAT values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and motivate a team of positive team members to foster commitment to the FastMed mission and vision.
  • Oversee all day-to-day center operations, including staffing, patient flow, and adherence to operational and clinical standards.
  • Ensure resources are available, including supplies and necessary equipment within the center.
  • Communicate regularly with Regional Director to quickly resolve issues and provide recommendations as required.
  • Lead interviewing, hiring, and training of new staff, working with input from Regional Director, Human Resources, Talent/Organizational Development, and Talent Acquisition.
  • Develop staff through coaching, mentoring, rewarding, training, and guiding; plan and prepare work schedule and assign team members to specific duties.
  • Ensure compliance with necessary regulatory standards, including credentialing, regulatory agency, and other compliance requirements.
  • Interact with billing to ensure successful and timely billing.
  • Review center's financial statements and operating scorecards to ensure success of center, identify areas for improvement, and ensure the center is tracking to meet annual goals.
  • Implement corporate-led initiatives effectively and efficiently.
  • Act with honesty and integrity in all business transactions, including employment applications/resumes, patient records, time records, and financial transactions.
  • Responsible for marketing initiatives to grow urgent care and occupational health business of the center.

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 2 years of manager experience - preferably in healthcare environment.
  • 3 years healthcare/customer service industry experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • This is a field position and is 100% in clinic, the expectation is that the Center Manager will be in an assigned clinic every day.
  • Travel between locations is required.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
