Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Courtyard Marriott-Hyannis, MA. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Check guests in and out, handle room assignments, and ensure that all guest rooms are clean and ready for occupancy.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions, including processing payments and making change.
  • Answer phones and respond to guest inquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Assist with special requests, such as securing valuables in safety deposit boxes and providing directions to local attractions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including the lobby and back office.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and guest confidentiality.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or training preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
