Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Professional to join our team at Anikev Hospitality LLC. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout our hotel's guest rooms and common areas.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Room Cleaning and Maintenance:

    • Clean and tidy guest rooms according to hotel standards, ensuring all amenities are restocked and in good condition.
    • Make beds, change linens, and replace towels, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
    • Vacuum carpets, sweep, and mop floors, and dust furniture and fixtures to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.

  2. Bathroom Maintenance and Sanitation:

    • Clean and sanitize bathroom fixtures, including sinks, toilets, showers, and tubs, to maintain a high level of hygiene.
    • Replenish toiletries, such as soap, shampoo, and toilet paper, and polish mirrors and fixtures to ensure a clean and well-maintained bathroom.

  3. General Cleaning and Organization:

    • Clean and maintain common areas, such as hallways, lobbies, and stairways, to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
    • Dust and polish furniture and fixtures in public areas, and empty trash containers and replace liners to maintain a clean and organized space.

  4. Laundry Services:

    • Collect, wash, dry, fold, and distribute guest and hotel linens, ensuring all laundry is clean and pressed.
    • Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, and ensure that laundry areas are clean and organized.

  5. Guest Interaction and Communication:

    • Provide friendly and courteous service to guests, responding promptly to their requests or complaints and taking appropriate action to resolve issues.
    • Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

  6. Adherence to Standards and Procedures:

    • Adhere to hotel policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation guidelines, to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
    • Follow instructions from supervisors and management, and maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is essential, as well as attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently, with good communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects, as well as flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
