About the Role

The NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Enterprise Quality organization. As an NDT Technician II, you will play a critical role in ensuring part integrity and compliance to engineering type design by utilizing non-destructive methods to test aircraft parts and sub-assemblies during production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform non-destructive tests (NDT) and determine product acceptability to authorized limits of the NDT level obtained in accordance with prescribed methods and procedures.
  • Record, organize, and evaluate test results and enter results into applicable documents.
  • Ensure compliance to all radiation safety rules and regulations and provide protection to self and others during testing.
  • Maintain equipment and assure calibration for tests to be performed.
  • Maintain inventory control of area equipment.
Requirements
  • Certified in one NAS 410 NDT method required.
  • Preferred qualifications include NDT certification in Ultrasonics (UT) and/or Eddy Current (ET), ability to read blueprints and Catia drawings, and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Must be able to read a scale and perform basic shop math, and have essential personal and communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate good housekeeping and safety practices, and be proficient in current computer-based software.
Working Conditions

The NDT Technician II will work in a team-oriented environment, performing all tasks in a timely and efficient manner to ensure aircraft parts, sub-assemblies, major assemblies, and installations are built to type design data. The position requires flexibility to work different schedules, including varied shifts and unscheduled overtime.
