As an Automotive Inspection Technician, your primary responsibilities will include performing essential service tasks such as oil changes, tire services, alignments, and fluid flushes. You will work closely with ASE Certified Automotive Technicians, gaining the knowledge and skills necessary to elevate your career. Compensation: Up to $15 - $17/HR, Plus Flag Hour Depending on Experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely transport customers to and from their residences or businesses using the company vehicle.
  • Collect parts, supplies, and tires from vendors or the corporate office.
  • Operate the company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner, adhering to all traffic regulations.
  • Conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections on vehicles, following all company and state guidelines.
  • Perform tire mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotation services.
  • Execute oil changes and other basic services as directed by the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
  • While performing services, assess general vehicle condition and report any obvious repair needs or safety issues to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager. Utilize the company's Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order to accurately document vehicle conditions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, including the service area, tire racks, showroom, and exterior, to ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and report any concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess a valid driver's license or obtain one within 30 days of hire.
  • Availability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.

Previous automotive experience is preferred; however, we are open to energetic and hardworking individuals with a passion for vehicles. Candidates should demonstrate a high level of motivation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, as there is always work to be done. A valid driver's license is required, and candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, MVR, and criminal background check.
