As a Junior Automotive Technician, your responsibilities will include performing essential service tasks such as oil changes, tire services, alignments, and fluid flushes. You will collaborate with ASE Certified Automotive Technicians, gaining the necessary training to elevate your career. This position offers a pathway to becoming a certified ASE Automotive Technician, marking the start of a rewarding professional journey.

Compensation: Up to $15 - $17/HR, Plus Flag Hour Depending on Experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely transports customers using the company vehicle.
  • Picks up parts and supplies from vendors as needed.
  • Operates the company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner, adhering to all traffic regulations.
  • Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections on vehicles, following all company and state guidelines.
  • Performs tire mounting, wheel balancing, and rotations.
  • Executes oil changes and other basic services as directed by the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
  • Observes vehicle conditions during service and reports any necessary repairs or safety issues.
  • Maintains cleanliness in the shop, including service areas and showrooms.
  • Adheres to all safety protocols and reports any concerns to management.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
  • Availability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturdays.

While previous automotive experience is preferred, we welcome enthusiastic and hardworking individuals with a passion for vehicles. Candidates should demonstrate a high level of motivation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license is required, and candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, MVR, and background check.
