Position Overview

As a Senior Manager of Search Marketing Strategy, you will take charge of the strategic direction and oversee the planning, optimization, and performance analysis of client SEM initiatives at Digitas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for daily client interactions.
  • Develop and communicate the agency's perspective on customer segmentation and media strategy execution.
  • Manage the strategic elements of integrated SEM campaigns alongside other digital and traditional media.
  • Oversee the formulation of program strategies and analyses for clients, including audience targeting and scheduling strategies.
  • Be accountable for testing schedules, learning agendas, and performance predictions.
  • Extract insights from program outcomes and keep clients and internal teams informed about strategic implications.
  • Identify and resolve client challenges while uncovering new opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns related to media, serving as the day-to-day liaison.
  • Manage assigned accounts within the media department with minimal supervision, including media planning, negotiations, performance tracking, and associated projects.
  • Collaborate closely with account, creative, and measurement teams to ensure alignment of media plans with client objectives and quality standards.
  • Lead and inspire junior team members, providing ongoing feedback, performance assessments, career guidance, and training.
  • Encourage teamwork, delegate responsibilities, and implement a universally accepted task management system.
  • Offer innovative solutions to client challenges, demonstrating resourcefulness and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal teams (Media, S&A, and other capabilities) and external stakeholders while managing multiple client interests.
  • Comprehend broader implications and apply insights across various programs and channels.
  • Engage in active knowledge sharing with capabilities and the wider agency.
