Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Janitor Lab Services Assistant to join our team at Flagship Facility Services. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our lab facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily janitorial tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of floors, as well as dusting and polishing of surfaces.
  • Operate industrial cleaning equipment, such as scrubbing and buffing machines, to maintain the cleanliness of floors and surfaces.
  • Remove trash and recyclables, and replace liners in waste baskets.
  • Assist with the maintenance of lab equipment and supplies, including cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and surfaces.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including special projects and tasks.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 6 months of experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work desired.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, and to stand for long periods of time.
  • Good listening and verbal communication skills, with ability to understand and anticipate the needs of clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Work Environment
