About the Role:

Prairie Lakes Healthcare System is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will provide patient care in a manner that is consistent with departmental and hospital standards, including those pertaining to infection control and environmental hazards.

Responsibilities:

  • Obtain and record vital signs, patient demographics, and other patient statistics
  • Assist in all aspects of invasive cardiac procedures
  • Prepare skin site for procedures
  • Maintain sterility during procedures
  • Maintain supply inventory
  • Perform daily quality control, report equipment malfunction to the Cath Lab Director, and report safety concerns to appropriate personnel
  • Rotating Call Shifts including holidays

Qualifications:

Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology program, or a minimum of 2 years Cath Lab experience. BCLS & ACLS required.
