Job Title: Center of Plate Specialist

US Foods is seeking a skilled Center of Plate Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales and penetration of our Center of Plate category through consultative sales activities with targeted customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide product expertise and sales support for all aspects of the Center of Plate category, including promotional opportunities, product information, suggested pricing, competitive information, and menu ideas.
  • Drive KPIs across the category, including sales case growth, category penetration, and competitive market pricing.
  • Support category-specific product conversion activities and new item sales opportunities based on product margins, features, and benefits.
  • Train sales team members on top penetration priorities and utilize hands-on product and printed materials during monthly sales meetings and one-on-one opportunities in the field.
  • Develop and present selling and relevant training materials in conjunction with Category Management and Training functions.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in the Center of Plate category, with deep and comprehensive product knowledge.
  • Culinary training beneficial.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as solid interpersonal, presentation, and training skills.
  • Foodservice experience preferred, but not required.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary range of $69,900 to $95,000.
  • An annual incentive plan bonus and incentive compensation.
