Principal RF Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal RF Systems Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) organization, you will be responsible for leading RF architecture trades and design activities for developmental programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead RF system calibration activities within HWIL facilities to support system signal presentation
- Perform RF troubleshooting and failure investigation activities within HWIL facilities
- Assist in generating requirements, statements of work, and verification plans for RF and anechoic chamber systems
- Work in a team environment in HWIL facilities to support the full lifecycle of system development and sustainment activities
- Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience
- Experience with RF electronics design and/or experience with RF antennas
- Active and transferrable US government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date
- US citizenship is required, as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Understanding of calibration/characterization of RF signal generation systems
- Strong organization, coordination, planning, teaming skills, as well as written and oral communication skills
- Existing Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) clearance
- Knowledge with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of or experience with software languages such as Java, C, C++, or similar languages
- Experience troubleshooting systems using test equipment such as data acquisition systems, oscilloscopes, bus analyzers, logic analyzers, network analyzers, and/or spectrum analyzers
