We are in search of a highly qualified Lead Civil Engineer to enhance our team within the Engineering sector. In this role, you will oversee the design and execution of diverse projects, such as site development, roadway engineering, and stormwater management. Proficiency in Autocad, Auto Desk Civil 3D, and related software is essential. A Professional Engineer license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) designation is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the design and execution of various engineering projects.
- Develop and assess plans, drawings, and specifications for construction initiatives.
- Collaborate with project managers and fellow engineers to ensure timely and budget-conscious project completion.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians within the team.
- Conduct site assessments and inspections to ensure adherence to regulations and safety protocols.
- Perform calculations and analyses to verify project feasibility and safety.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Professional Engineer license is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant areas such as underground utilities, commercial grading, and roadway design.
- Proficient in Autocad, Auto Desk Civil 3D, and similar software.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity with applicable regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
