Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Process all incoming and outgoing financial mail, including invoices and payments.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable and Payable, oversee invoicing, payment processing, and bill tracking using financial management software.
  • Keep accurate financial records, including tracking expenses for staff and volunteers.
  • Process check requests and manage spending forms.
  • Hold and manage the organization's credit card, ensuring proper coding and reconciliation of all transactions.
  • Assist with payroll processing as needed.
  • Act as the main contact for the bookkeeper regarding daily financial transactions.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance.
  • Familiarity with financial management software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive financial information.
  • Knowledge of Jewish holidays, customs, calendar, and Hebrew language is a plus.
