About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to join our Global Network Solutions team at Google. As a Technical Program Manager, you'll play a critical role in planning, acquiring, and delivering network infrastructure assets that connect Google's data centers to users and Google Cloud customers.

You'll work closely with stakeholders to develop infrastructure requirements, priorities, and delivery date expectations. Your expertise will be essential in managing the delivery of network infrastructure projects, including long-haul dark fiber, metro fiber, leased capacity/circuits, and inside plant fiber from inception through delivery.

As a Technical Program Manager, you'll serve as the primary vendor contact, escalating vendor management chains when delivery timelines are at risk. You'll lead project status meetings, keeping downstream teams at Google informed of project and delivery statuses.

You'll oversee all vendor handover documentation, test results, and technical drawings, working with vendors and Google staff to coordinate record keeping and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary vendor contact and escalate vendor management chains when delivery timelines are at risk.
  • Lead project status meetings while keeping downstream teams at Google aware of project and delivery statuses.
  • Oversee all vendor handover documentation, test results, and technical drawings while working with vendors and Google staff to coordinate record keeping and communication.
