Maintenance Building Mechanic YMCA

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Building Mechanic to join our team at the Beaver County YMCA. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and effectiveness of our facility operations, supervising housekeeping staff, and performing routine and preventative maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance and cleaning of the Y Facility and grounds
- Manage, coordinate, and schedule work projects to be completed with minimal disruption to members
- Ensure that all safety and risk management best practices are followed
- Manage the chemical/mechanical aspects of the pools to adhere to local law
- Manage contracts and order weekly supplies
- Snow removal from walkways
- Set up and tear down of various activities
- Conduct daily evaluation of equipment and facility and follow up on all safety and cleanliness-related issues
- Work with the President/CEO to oversee all construction/renovation projects
- Responsible for hiring, training and evaluating all maintenance and housekeeping staff members
- Create staff schedules, monitor time sheets, and complete payroll
- Be an active member of the management team working with all directors to ensure facility cleanliness, maintenance of facility equipment, and recommend improvements
- A minimum of 7 years experience managing large facilities or multiple facilities
- Experience with electrical, HVAC, pool filtration, plumbing, and general knowledge of scheduling of job tasks
- Within 90 days of employment a current pool operator and pesticide applicator license must be current and must have a valid PA driver's license
