The Registered Nurse III is tasked with:
- Delivering patient-focused, specialized nursing care throughout the treatment continuum using an interprofessional approach.
- Coordinating care for designated patients during shifts to enhance clinical outcomes.
- Guiding team members to ensure quality, safety, and excellence in patient care.
- Implementing evidence-based nursing practices in accordance with established policies and protocols.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient care results.
- Engaging in quality clinical improvement initiatives while upholding departmental and institutional safety standards.
- Practicing responsible and cost-effective resource management.
- Completing all required annual competencies for the patient population and department.
- Participating in performance evaluation processes.
- Consistently exemplifying the core values of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited institution required.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required; Florida State or Compact License necessary.
- A minimum of 5 years of RN experience.
- BLS certification from AHA and other required certifications must be maintained.
- Nursing Certification preferred.
