Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Transmission Engineer V to join our team. As a key member of our electrical engineering group, you'll be responsible for providing technical leadership and project coordination for our clients. With a strong background in electrical systems and a passion for innovation, you'll be the driving force behind our projects, ensuring they're delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and project coordination for electrical systems projects
  • Perform complex studies and economic analyses of engineering alternatives
  • Prepare reports and feasibility studies for submission to management
  • Provide budget and schedule information to project managers and management
  • Serve as project engineer on assigned projects
  • Provide expertise in company design, construction, QA/QC, and safety standards and the company document control system
  • Be recognized as an expert in and applying standards, both national and local
  • Promote complete and accurate record keeping and be responsible for the quality of all work performed
  • Keep informed of current developments in the areas of responsibility
  • Lead in the professional development, training, and evaluation of department personnel
Requirements
  • Must be an Engineer V (Principal Engineer) or the equivalent with a minimum of fifteen (15) years of appropriate experience in the designated engineering field
  • Must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from an accredited engineering program or the equivalent amount of experience in the designated engineering field

Compensation

Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors. Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
