Job Summary

Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center seeks a highly skilled NICU Clinical Manager to lead our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the unit, providing strategic leadership, and fostering a culture of excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the NICU team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, reduce length of stay, and enhance the overall patient experience.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimize resource utilization.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices.
  • Provide education and training to staff on best practices, new technologies, and emerging trends in neonatal care.
  • Maintain open communication channels with staff, physicians, and families to ensure transparency and address concerns.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and resource allocation.
  • Supervise and mentor staff, providing coaching and feedback to enhance performance and career growth.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in NICU leadership or management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement evidence-based practices.
  • Proficient in computer systems and healthcare technology.
  • Current RN license and Los Angeles County Fire Card required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar leadership role.
  • Knowledge of postpartum and NICU nursing practices, policies, and procedures.
